How to make a hot tea powder

Method 1: Traditional Whisking

Like when making a mug of magical matcha, you’ll need either a Bamboo Matcha Whisk or our Handheld Milk & Matcha Frother

  • For Turmeric Tea Powder, add one level Perfect Matcha Spoon of tea powder into a bowl & add a splash of boiling water. For Turmeric Spiced Cocoa Tea Powder & Maca Hot Choc Tea Powder, use two level Perfect Matcha Spoons or one level Perfect Tea Spoon of powder.
  • Whisk using a Bamboo Matcha Whisk or milk frother until all the powder is dissolved.
  • Pour into your favourite cosy mug.

From here, you can make…

  • Hot Tea: Top up with hot water & add a splash of milk if desired.
  • Tea Latte: Gently warm 150ml of milk, froth, then add to your mug with a pump of vanilla syrup to taste if you’d like. Sprinkle cocoa powder on top for an extra chocolatey taste!

Method 2: Magic Whisk Method

Here's how to make a velvety tea powder latte using our Matcha Latte Magic Whisk!

  • Add 250ml of your chosen milk to your Matcha Latte Magic Whisk & press the power button.

  • Sprinkle 1 Perfect Matcha Spoon of your chosen tea powder over your milk as it spins in your Magic Whisk. By gently sprinkling the tea powder over the milk as it spins, you can achieve the best results & avoid any clumping.

  • After you have sprinkled in your tea powder, you can then add 1 teaspoon of your vanilla syrup (optional).

  • Place the lid on top of your machine & watch the magic happen. 

  • Pour into your favourite mug & enjoy!
