The chai latte is a coffee shop classic the world over, but have you experienced the magic of a chai latte made with tea instead of coffee?
We like to make ours with our Great Taste Award winning Gingerbread Chai blend, but you can do this with any of our chai blends too. It’s packed full of antioxidants, with no added sugar & naturally caffeine free, our chai latte is a fan fave for a reason.
Pop in to any of our stores around the UK where we can brew you up a delicious Chai Latte, or follow our easy step-by-step instructions for perfectly spiced chai lattes at home.
What you will need:
- 3 Perfect Tea Spoons of Gingerbread Chai
- 300ml 100° water
- Teapot or strainer (we recommend Brewdini Gravity Steeper)
- 150ml of a milk of your choice (we recommend oat milk)
- Cinnamon for sprinkling
- Your favourite mug
Optional:
- Sweetbird Vanilla Syrup (or honey/sweetener of choice)
Gingerbread Chai Latte:
- First, pop 3 heaped teaspoons of Gingerbread Chai tea into your *Brewdini Gravity Steeper then add the boiling water & brew for 4 minutes.
- You can also use alternative teapots, strainers or tea sacs to brew your loose leaf tea.
- Strain the tea into your mug, leaving enough room for your milk.
- Now you can add 1 pump of Sweetbird Vanilla Syrup if you’d like (honey will also work) and give it a stir.
- Gently heat your milk on the stove or in the microwave and, if you have one, use a Handheld Milk Frother to make it nice & frothy.
- Pour your milk over your tea and make sure you get a lovely big dollop of foam on top. You can also add the tea & the milk to a milk frother or hot chocolate maker machine.
- Finish your latte with a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon, along with whipped cream to make it mega, if you’d like.
- Enjoy!

Hi Ella,
Great question! To make it just for 1 serving, we would recommend splitting the ingredients in half.
1 SERVING:
1 Perfect Tea Spoons of Gingerbread Chai
150ml hot water
50ml milk
Raw Honey
Cinnamon
Let us know how it goes, happy sipping!
Hi there! What would the ingredients be if I just wanted to make a single serving please?
