    Favourite so far

Love chai latte, this one is similar in taste. Not overpowering, you can still taste the matcha.

    Pumpkin Spice?! Not so nice!

Ok, ok! I’ll admit it! I’m a huge pumpkin spice fan and I could probably drink it year round so when I saw this online - I blind bought it without a care in the world! When I got it- I ripped open the package and immediately went about making this! I even bought put fresh cinnamon, nutmeg , used vanilla soy milk (also tried it plain, extra creamy oat milk), tried it with caramel and wee splash of the vanilla syrups that Bird and Blend sells. I counted the days until this came (along with another matcha). Anyway that I have tried it- I just can’t like it. I taste gritty (no matter how much I whisk), bitterness and no trace of pumpkin. :( I don’t really taste spice. I taste a bit of the ceremonial grade quality matcha with I’m sorry to say it- cigarette ash?! Why?! I’m not sure. Sadly, disappointed with this and like the Mint Chocolate Chip I blind bought in same order- I called Bird and Blend after (£1000s of happy purchases) to use their “Happiness Guaranteed” offer- only to be told on the central telephone line that I was wasteful, scolded for not trying in store (! These weren’t available in store and I trusted I would love this as it’s one of my very fave flavours) and that the guarantee only applies to loose leaf teas (? Not stated anywhere). I had high hopes for this flavour! I was truly looking forward to it but both the matcha and the customer “service” response left really bad tastes in my mouth. Not so nice spice. :(
