Not just for Bonfire Night!

Love this tea - smoky with a gorgeous sweet aftertaste. Perfect for Autumn but I’d happily drink it any time. Delicious!

Taste of Autumn

A lovely smokey tea that I received as part of my subscription box. A nice flavour.

Smoky and sweet

The perfect tea if you want to get your papillas started with smoky teas, but with a hint of autumn inspired sweetness. Gorgeous with baked apples as a treat in an chilly evening.

Lovely cosy afternoon tea

A really mellow and smokey tea blend for a wintery warming afternoon. Really lovely.

My new favourite!

I was a bit nervous about trying this one when it arrived in my subscription box as I historically have detested lapsong, but I was really surprised to find that I loved it. The caramel and apple make it smell delicious and I love to have it straight with no milk first thing in the morning - it's mixed with black tea so the lapsong just gives it a nice hint of smokiness. A great autumn drink. I'd definitely recommend it, even for lapsong haters like me!...Read more

Interestingly autumnal

I bought a sample pack of this tea as I wasn’t too sure about it but the flavours had me intrigued.
When opening the bag there sure is a strong smokey smell, I still wasn’t too sure...
But after brewing and serving with soya milk the flavours in the tea are really well balanced. You do get the smokey flavour but the sweet apple comes through as you drink it.
I’m really surprised by this tea, it’s not up there in my favourites but it is an enjoyable tea to drink.

Sweet and Smoky

Really interesting tea! The smokiness is really reminiscent of a bonfire and the apple's sweetness is the perfect counter.

Definitely bonfire, not sure about the toffee!

Mixed feelings every time I try this one. I'm generally not a fan of smokey tea but couldn't resist the name of this one. The smokey flavour is strong but not overly so, and there is a refreshing apple tang. Definitely more apple than toffee though - I could detect no toffee flavour unfortunately, so the name is a bit misleading.

A Decadent Smokey Treat

This was an odd tea as when I took the first mouthful, the flavour was quite strong and I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. As I kept drinking it, the subtle smokey flavour came through, followed by notes of burnt caramel and toffee. I like this one as a warm winter tea and will definitely buy more (I like it with a bit of milk as if I drink it straight, it's a little strong for me).

Slightly misleading name but oh so drinkable, and even looks pretty

This tastes nothing like real bonfire toffee (which is made with black treacle, if you're not familiar with it) but don't let that put you off.

This is actually a very finely balanced, almost subtle, blend of flavours. It's a cup of tea beside a bonfire with a cinnamon-toffee apple in your other hand.

Not as smoky as Smoky Russian. Not as apple & cinnamon-y as Apple Strudel. The extra flavours are there but not overpowering, which makes this a very very drinkable cuppa.

Bonus points for its dry appearance too - the safflowers in the mix make it look like the glowing coals of a fire. Definitely one to keep in a glass jar.

Autumn in a mug

This was one of the first teas I trief from B&B and to this day it's my absolute favourite! This is basically a chilly autumn evening in a mug. Perfect to snuggle up on the sofa on a rainy day. Or anytime, really!

Comforting tea

Great tea my second fav. Great, a tea to relax with, lovely all year but extra good when the weather gets cooler.

Sweet and Smokey

Not as smokey as a smokey Russian but still good, this has a wonderful aroma! The toffee brings a slight sweetness but its not a sweet tea, very balances flavours. If you haven’t tried it yet it goes great with a Jaffa cake or choccy biscuit!

New ultimate favorite of all time!

The title says it all: Bonfire Toffee is now my favorite tea of all time. I love the smoky notes, the sweetness one can smell when opening the pouch, the winter feeling that it has whenever one drinks it... It's saved me on snow days and cloudy spring evenings alike, and although I love it during the cold months, I could have it at any time and still drink it in summer whenever I feel that I need a warm hug from a cozy cup of tea!...Read more

What a treat

You can definitely taste the flavour there's a depth to their teas which I love. I love the smell of this tea as well it smells lovely. These teas are great fun and exceptional quality, I will be ordering more of it as its my favourite so far.

Smoky & Delish

I don’t know how they did it but this tastes the way a bonfire smells :O with a toffee apple smoothness on the back of the smoke

Subtly smoky and sweet

Like toffee apples! Saving this one for autumn :)

Just Fantastic *_*

My Absolute Favorite

Caramel, apple and lapsang sousong tea, what is not to love? I absolutely adore this tea, and when brewed it looses the overly sickly sweet scent it has as dry mix and mellows into perfect pot of tea. Only way to make it better for me personally would be adding bit more smokiness.

Bonfire tea is a must-have. It's what spurred all my recent purchases: I ran out of it! It's smoky and just lovely.
