    Green tea | Low caffeine

Sencha is the perfect springtime green tea not only because of its fresh, naturally sweet & grassy flavour profile but also because traditionally it is harvested as the first buds of springtime appear.

Spring Sencha is a really unique blend as it uses a brand new ingredient never seen before in our range - Kukicha, or ‘Twig Tea’.  Kukicha is the stems & stalks of sencha tea, which have a very similar flavour profile to traditional Japanese Sencha tea but with a slightly nutty, buttery or toasted note.

Read more about the fascinating provenance of Spring Sencha & how to enjoy it here.

    Lovely tea

This tea is very reminiscent of a tea I had in Japan, which was Sencha green tea and popped rice. Spring Sencha has a subtle sweet flavour and tastes slightly like pop corn. I like this a lot and it's such a shame it's a limited addition. This would be lovely if you aren't one for strong flavours and want to appreciate the Sencha tea
