Pear Matcha

Tried this first at the Glasgow branch today (22-09), I have to say the blend is beautiful. It was prepared for me warm, and it has the most beautiful fruity but grounding green taste to it.

I've been looking for a coffee substitute, upon which the barista recommended matcha. After choosing a flavour, the barista took me through a walk-through of how to prepare it and suggested a lovely addition of cinnamon (which really added this beautiful warm flush and kinda brought together the fruity and earth flavours of the matcha in such a beautiful way, would recommend following her advice!).

Now, I think the way to tell if someone is really truly an expert at something is if they can explain it in a way a beginner like me can understand- and she did! I found it really easy to follow along and I felt so accommodated in store with a really friendly and personable experience.

All in all, love the matcha and the service, and unfortunately I will be getting the pear matcha out of stock single-handedly. Someone give this woman a raise 😤

I usually enjoy my matchas as iced latte with oat milk but I finally tried matcha lemonade with this one and I can't believe it took me so long! I make it with quince honey, juice from half a lemon and sparkling lemonade or store-bought no sugar lemonade. Absolutely delicious, zesty and refreshing. This pear matcha has a strong, fruity flavor and a bright green color (somehow the green is even more vibrant than regular matcha!).
