If you’re looking for a warm and fuzzy feeling this Christmas, look no further than our Mulled Cider blend! Our combination of aromatic winter spices & sweet spiced apple create a comforting and mellow toddy, perfect for curling up with on a chilly evening.
Our Co-Founder and Chief Tea Mixologist Krisi was the brains behind our Christmas flavours, she says, “Our past ‘mulled’ themed-teas have been so popular in Christmases gone by so I wanted to build on the spiced fruit tea toddy theme with this classic flavour.”
You can even whip up a batch of our Mulled Cider Sticky Chai, add in a cheeky dash of dark rum or brandy for the ulTEAmate winter warmer!
Snowball Tea
Through popular demand our returning award-winning black tea blend is full to the brim with marshmallow-y, chocolate-y, coconut-y goodness! These luxurious flavours create the perfect sweet treat for you to relax by the fire with. This blend is perfect for those sweet-tooth's who want to take their Christmas cuppa to the next level!
“I was aiming for Snowball cake balls, note the cocktail! Also I had a luxury hot chocolate by the fire in mind when creating this blend, with added melted marshmallows!”, Krisi says. Oh yes, did we mention it had gooey vegan marshmallows in it? It does!
Brew the fan-fave flavour with our hand-painted vegan snow person to top this dreamy, creamy drink.
Fairytale of NY Tea
Taking inspiration from one of our favourite Christmas songs, this blend is our tribute to creamy Irish coffee. With sweet vanilla rooibos, coffee beans and chocolate-y notes, it’s a Christmas dream come true.
Krisi says, “The name is in homage to my favourite Christmas song by The Pogues. I wanted to create an Irish cream style tea, with a rooibos base to add another caffeine-free blend to our range.”
You can even make it as the perfect caffeine-free 'Espresso MarTEAni' so raise your mugs (or martini glasses), Teabirds & join us for a singalong… ‘& the bells are ringing out!’
Gingerbread Chai
Our award-winning Gingerbread Chai started its Bird & Blend journey in Christmas 2012, but it’s turned out to be so mouth-wateringly popular that we’ve made this special flavour available all year round. This spiced gingerbread rooibos was made in homage to the Nordic city of Bergen where they build a life-sized gingerbread city every Christmas. Wow!
Salted Caramel Lebkuchen
Whenever you see these little bites of heaven in the supermarket, you know it’s Christmas! Lebkuchen are a classic German Christmas tradition; think gingerbread, but softer & cut into the cutest shapes! We love them so much, we’ve created a whole blend dedicated to the delicious treat, and have added our own decadent salted caramel notes for pure Christmas bliss.
“I tried a salted Lebkuchen chocolate caramel at the Great Taste judging in 2019 and knew I had to try and recreate this into a tea!” Krisi says & it went down a treat for sure!
Peppermint Hot Cocoa
This rich and decadent blend will transport you straight to a winter-wonderland! This brand new Christmas treat has been designed for our Teabirds to indulge in and is sure to tickle your taste buds with its dark chocolate and minty flavours.
