When I thought of "wedding cake tea" I imagined coconut, vanilla, maybe strawberry from the jam. The scent of this tea is stunning, sweet and cake, just like a piece of coconut and jam cake. The appearance of the tea is beautiful with tiny multicoloured hearts and rose petals .
To me, this tea tasted exactly like Sugar Puffs cereal - a 1990s breakfast cereal made of puffed rice similar to Rice Crispies, covered in a toasted honey-like coating. The rooibos and sugar sprinkles give a honey like taste, and maybe the coconut and toasted rice give a almost savory edge.
If you are from a culture that throws rice at weddings, this is the perfect tea gift or perfect anniversary tea drinking.
The tea is beautiful enough to be given as favours too.
