    Ingredients

    First Flush Darjeeling Black Tea, Sri Lankan Black Tea, Hibiscus, Mallow Flowers, Flavouring

    How to make a hot tea

    • perfect loose leaf tea spoon

      Step 1

      1 tsp

    • tea brewing temperature

      Step 2

      Boil water to 100°

    • tea brewing time

      Step 3

      Wait 2-4 mins

    • hot cup of tea

      Step 4

      With or without milk

    How to cold brew tea

    • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

      Step 1

      Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

    • Add cold water

      Step 2

      Add 750ml cold water

    • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

      Step 3

      Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

    • Enjoy over ice.

      Step 4

      Pour over ice & enjoy!

    Tea Mixologist Top Tip

    Great as a hot tea with a soft violet flavour, adding a little splash of milk softens the black tea. Lovely cold brewed in coconut milk too. Makes great gin too when cold brewed for two days!

    Fun and Elegant; a rare combo

    I wanted this tea to work! I took the risk of soap flavour 🧼 ...but can happily report that this tea has a beautiful flavour pop, without being overpowering. Unlike the actual sweets it doesn't taste chemical. Rather the quality of the black tea dominates.

    Enjoyable, but Maybe Not Parma Violet

    This is a nice tea that looks extremely pretty brewed. It tastes and looks good either with or without milk, and is definitely worth digging out a glass mug to fully appreciate. I wouldn't say it reminded me of parma violets no matter how I tried it though, hence the lower rating.

    Funnily enough, my favourite way to drink this is a way that actually makes it taste even less like parma violets than making it the traditional way. I found I quite like this as a cold brew made with carbonated water. I don't think it would be to everyone's liking and this could be a case of me having strange tastes, but if you have this blend and enjoy dry, floral drinks it could be worth a try! You could also add some sort of syrup if you did want to add a little sweetness.

    I have not tried it cold brewed with carbonated water, you might be onto something there, cant wat to give that a try myself.
