Introducing Bird & Blend's Ba Bao Cha blend, Chinese Treasures. Inspired by eight treasures tea, we've created our own blend of this ancient elixir. Originating from Yunnan, China, this powerful blend is renowned for its medicinal & healing properties!

How to make a hot tea

  • perfect loose leaf tea spoon

    Step 1

    1 tsp

  • tea brewing temperature

    Step 2

    Boil water to 80°

  • tea brewing time

    Step 3

    Wait 3 mins

  • hot cup of tea

    Without milk

How to cold brew tea

  • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

    Step 1

    Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

  • Add cold water

    Step 2

    Add 750ml cold water

  • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

    Step 3

    Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

  • Enjoy over ice.

    Step 4

    Pour over ice & enjoy!

Has this blend been changed up?

This tea has been one of my favourite B&B blends and a staple in my house for several years now, so after a recent long spell of it not being available, I excitedly purchased two big bags to stock up again. However, this new batch doesn't smell or taste like it used to - it seems to have lost its wonderful earthiness and is really quite heavy on the ginger? It's still decent enough, to be sure, just not the blend I have loved for so long. I really hope this is just a blip in this particular batch and not a permanent change to the blend recipe - I'd be so disappointed!

Chinese menu Number 1

The smell alone sells this tea, then the lovely taste, who ever comes up with the flavours has the Best Job ever.

Very good quality and very good value for your money, I have no hesitation in recommending Bird and Blend to my family and friends.
