Exciting, unique, and excellent customer service.

"I absolutely love this idea of not just the tea advent (I've had one of other brands for years now) but what makes this super special is the 'two tea' approach to each day, meaning I can share this with my partner and it be a lovely moment for us to share in the run up to christmas. I already know it will be a real time to look forward to and a special part of the day, rather than the "oh! I've got 5 days of advent to make up for!" that often spoils the purpose of advent and celebration of the month. I had to look into the tea details due to dietary requirements so am very much looking forward to exploring new flavours and bringing back old favourites, too. On another note, with a hiccup in my delivery (courier issue), I was really impressed with the lovely customer service team who did everything they could to rectify the issue no problem. I dreaded ringing to enquire into the issue because it's usually so convoluted but I can honestly say B&B are the most helpful customer experience I've ever had to fix an issue that wasn't even their fault! I used to live in Brighton and miss coming to your store for my tea treats - this advent will bring that all back for me in a really thoughtful way that I can share with those I love. "Me and my partner got this to share for our countdown to Christmas we even used matching mugs for our morning cuppa countdown. We absolutely loved it and had the most amazing December comparing tea reviews and trying with milk and without for some of them to compare the flavours with and without it was just lovely and we really loved it and cannot wait for it to become a yearly tradition."

Love the concept but disappointing

"I was disappointed by the range of teas in the caffeine free calendar. I know it's a Christmas calendar, but there were way to many similar teas containing cinnamon for me. I'm not a big fan of rooibos tea, but they are to be expected in a caffeine free calendar. However, I did think the rooibos teas polluted the other teas a bit. Some of the teas were great, however they were rare. Given the number of teas bird and blend have, it would have been nice to have more variety."

Christmas Present

"My husband got me this Advent Calendar more as a selection box, given that I got it on Christmas Day rather than for Advent. So far I am loving all the different blends, including ones that I wouldn't normally have picked. Hot Cinnamon was a taste of childhood, and brought back fond memories of my friends and I challenging each other as to who could keep the fireball gobstopper in their mouth the longest before it became to hot/spicy. Loving 'Snowball' just now. These teas are far superior to the herbal and fruit teas you get at the supermarket from well known brands and I will definitely order more once I have finished the calendar to decide which my favourites are, though it currently feels like choosing a favourite child 🤣."

A lot of teas just weren't to my taste, personally, a disappointment

"I must say its a very generous calendar, 2 bags per day is a great bonus. There were only a couple though that I enjoyed which I found disappointing. The year before I got another brand's calendar and the mix in favour of me (if that makes sense lol) was a lot higher, so I was hoping for the same here. That's the gamble you take, it just happened to be a more expensive one this time around."

Not for me

"My 14 year old daughter bought this for my birthday in November 25. Unfortunately she didn’t realise I don’t like rooibos tea, this calendar (caffeine free version) has 10 rooibos teas in it. All the other teas are affected by this as they get the flavour transferred from the rooibos because it’s such a strong smell. I was surprised there were no decaffeinated black teas in it but then I don’t think the company makes decaf black teas. I was sad for my daughter having spent her own money on this, luckily it became a bit of a joke each morning wondering if it was going to be something disgusting or something I could try."

Most contain no intentionally added sugar or sweeteners. For the most accurate information, please check the individual ingredient lists for each tea in the Advent Calendar. Hi! I'm following a low sugar diabetes prevention diet. Are the teabags in the decaffeinated calendar sugar free/low sugar?: Hi Melissa! I hope you're well, and thank you for getting in touch, it's a great question, particularly if you're looking to avoid added sugar or sweeteners. The good news is that the vast majority of our tea blends do not have sugar intentionally added to them. We do have a small number of blends where sugar is included as an ingredient to balance or enhance the flavour, and these are listed on our Allergens page under “Containing Candied Fruit or Containing Sprinkles”. None of these blends, however, are included in the calendar. (You can find the full list of ingredients and allergens for our teas on our website!) If you're looking for teas without added sugar, we'd recommend checking the ingredient list of each blend (which will be listed on each daily box). Our teas can contain naturally occurring sugars from ingredients such as fruit, but these are different from sugar that has been deliberately added to the blend. We don't currently have nutritional sugar values available for every individual blend, so unfortunately we wouldn't want to give you a specific figure that we can't verify. If you need to strictly manage your sugar intake for medical reasons, we'd recommend checking the full ingredient information for the teas each day and discussing specific products with your healthcare professional. However, while we do our best to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, please note that our products are prepared in environments where allergens are present. I want one for a gift, but don't want it to arrive too early!: Orders are typically packed and shipped out pretty quickly, with arrival depending on what delivery method is selected at checkout (our standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days).
