When I first set about building Bird & Blend, back in 2012, one of my passions was to showcase the diverse range of flavours and ways of experimenting with tea. I sat and sketched ‘Spreading Happiness. Reimagining Tea’ on the back of a napkin, and the rest is history!
As Chief Tea Mixologist (my alternative job title!), I am the visionary behind our incredible tea innovation and creative blends – still creating many of them to this day. My goal is to ensure every single tea that we make tastes great, smells great and adds a bit of magic to our customers’ day.
Over the years I have created loads of recipes with tea, and customers and team members have added their own too, so this book is the ultimate collection of my favourites so far. From soothing herbal infusions, like the Deckchair Dreaming Cocktail and Enchanted Narnia Malt, to the uplifting matcha-charged snacks like the Matcha Chocolate Cookies and Matcha Protein Balls, oh, and don’t forget the showstopping cakes!
