    Almost perfect

"I tried this tea last year and adored it. Strong smoky flavour that was smoothed out by caramel. It's still a very nice tea that deserves its place on the tea shelf, but it doesn't quite carry the strength of the smoke or caramel like it used to- not enough that I won't repurchase, but certainly a shame given how wonderful it was with the stronger notes. As in the title, almost perfect."

    Not as flavourful as expected

"After reading the reviews I expected a wow factor with the teas but I didn’t really think they were very strong and had to use more tea to get the right strength, maybe it’s just me and my sense of taste, they smell amazing though 😁"

    — Karen D. (3/5)

    Gorgeous

"Has all the elements of Lapsang with a lovely hint of caramel, which gives it a nice warming profile. Bought a small amount initially to try it but will definitely be buying more!!"

    — M K. (5/5)

    Delicious tea

"Just when I think I have found my favourite tea, I try another new one. Bonfire Toffee is delicious, it has a deep rich flavour which is really tasty."

    — Ellen H. (5/5)

This is definitely not for me

"Ended up buying this as part of a tea tasting bundle, and honestly couldn't stomach the taste. It just tastes "burnt". There was no toffee taste, it just tasted like smoke and charcoal. Tried with and without milk, and there was no difference :("

    Highly Recommend ♥️

"This tea is robust and full of flavour. Reminds me of a caramel tea I once had in France. The samples were also delightful! I've been a fan of bird and blend for years and am happy to say they have delivered on delicious tea again!"

    — Jane C. (5/5)

    Firm Favourite!

"The smokiness of this tea is really unique and I wasn't sure about it at first, but after a few cups it became a favourite. Now on my second pouch and I know I'll come back to it again and again. Perfect for when you need a cosy, warming cuppa."

    — Jess (5/5)

    SO GOOD

"Yumm!! Perfect autumn drink. Hot water + Oat milk+ Honey + Cinnamon power = perfection"

    — Sapphire B. (5/5)

    Not really my taste

"I wanted to try this after seeing a lot of people mention this flavour. It’s not for me unfortunately as it’s very very smoky. I do like the apple and caramel but the smokiness overpowers the taste."

    — Natalie S. (3/5)

    Beautiful warm autumnal hug

"Takes a while to brew , so I’d recommend using a tea cosy on the tea pot , it’s worth the wait ,"

    — Donna D. (5/5)

    Q&A

Will this tea be back in stock at some point as a loose leaf and with more variety of size? It sounds delicious but it's daunting to spend £40 on 100 tea bags when I've never tried it!
Hello Ella, so sorry about the stock levels - its been a crazy few weeks for us! Keep an eye on the website and as we restock you will see the options reappear. Happy Sipping Andi @ B&B
