Great taste
"Bought a small tin of this in our local shop and it's incredible how good the banana flavour is. The staff in the shop did say that for lattes you might need to add a bit extra if you want more flavour (which is the case with most matcha, really) but as I am conscious of my caffeine - and matcha is a big caffeine bomb - my portions are typically very small anyway (I use a 1:1:2 ratio - the perfect serving spoon that you can buy from here is about 2g of matcha, if you want a bigger serving I'd recommend 4g matcha, 40ml water, 80ml milk, anything above 6g and expect to be buzzing lol, and of course change the liquid ratios if you want less of a matcha flavour). Regardless of what size I choose, though, I could always taste the matcha and the banana. Super happy with my purchase, and will definitely be one I keep in rotation for myself!"

- What is the nutritional information for your matcha ?
- Hi Louisa - thank you for your question! Most of our blends (including ALL of our matcha products) are completely sugar-free! A small number of our tea blends - but none of our matcha - have ingredients which do contain sugar. When we intentionally add sugar it will only be for the purpose of enhancing a flavour that may be too tart if left unsweetened. These can be viewed here: https://www.birdandblendtea.com/pages/allergens-tea With regards to the exact amount of sugar in any particular blend, this is not information that we have to hand as we do not currently test our blends for this. Any blends that have naturally occurring sugars will only have trace amounts. Only our Sticky Chai range has extra sugar from honey.
