Rio Olympics Special | Sunrise Yerba Mate Lemonade Recipe

The Olympic season in Rio is heating up and we've launched our Olympic special recipe collection! Celebrating all things South American, this yerba mate-filled iced tea is definitely an energy booster! A refreshingly sharp lemon drink with hints of ginger, it's perfect for sipping in the sun and cheering our GB team!
Serves: 1
What you will need:
- 1 Perfect Matcha Spoon (1/2 tsp) of Yerba Mate Matcha
- 4 Perfect Teaspoons of Morning Kick Tea
- 150ml hot water
- 2 wedges of lemon
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 tbl spoon of honey
What to do:
1. Brew your Morning Kick Tea in the boiling water for at least 4 minutes, with a spoon full of honey if you prefer a sweeter iced tea.
2. Whilst your Morning Kick is brewing, whisk a matcha teaspoon (1/2 teaspoon) of Yerba Mate matcha into 50ml of cold water. Follow our 'How to make matcha in 5 easy steps' guide.
3. Once you've whisked your Yerba Mate matcha and brewed your Morning Kick Tea, pour both teas into a cocktail maker containing a glass full of ice. If you don't have one of these, pour the tea and matcha over some crushed ice, it works just as well!
4. Now your Yerba Mate Sunrise Lemonade is almost good to go- squeeze in 2 wedges of lemon and use to garnish your drink.
5. Enjoy!
