I really enjoyed this one. Different to anything i have tried before and definitely one for winter.

Perfect for Autumn

A perfect tea for autumn. Warm and cosy, yet refreshing.

Another favorite!

Another beautiful tea from B&B!! The scent is amazing and the flavor doesn’t disappoint. It is perfect for a chilly autumn day (and any other day you happen to have some on hand!).

Smoking Brew

I was given a sample of this brew to try! My friend Elaine is the culprit!!

She said I would love it! And I do!!

This brew is smokey with the back note of toffee and is fast becoming one of my go to afternoon brews!

If you like strong flavour give this one a go!

Candy in a cup (without the sugar)

I wasn't sure what to make of the combination of ingredients in this blend, but I'm glad I decided to order based on the promise of the name. It tastes very much like a slightly smoky toffee , wonderful with a bit of milk.

The smell of smokey apple

The smell of the tea - both in the packet and in my cup - really lures me in and reminds me of autumn. The brew it for a bit longer than recommended, but it doesn't get bitter, and leaves a lovely aftertaste of apple. A great start to the day for me!

Not flavourful enough

There was not enough flavour in this blend and I found it tasted a lot like regular tea which wasn't what I was looking for.

Afternoon brew

a great new variation on the smoked teas i love int he afternoon. The sweet notes allow me to go sugar-free

A Unique Drink!

I didn't know what to expect from this - especially for it to not actually smell and taste like a bonfire! But in the most pleasant way. It's smoky, appley and toffee-y! Really warming and cosy, especially great in Autumn/Winter, but it could be interesting iced too!

A special blend, fruity and and a little bit of smoke. i love it :)

Essential tea alert! Egads, I am in love with this one.

I’d call this caramel apple rather than toffee. It has a sweet apple flavor with caramel. The black tea base in this blend is a little stronger than the usual black blend from B&B which gets points from me alone. I don’t want to call it tangy or astringent, but it isn’t smoother. The second steep had more of that caramel apple flavor rather than the black tea… I’m not sure how that was possible! It’s just perfect. And I have to give B&B credit for their blends being very consistent over the years – this seems almost exact to past batches I’ve had over the years. The perfect briskness with a heaping teaspoon for a mug with sweet hints of caramel and apple. The color of the cup is fittingly a caramel color. Cinnamon will pop up when I steep at a full boil later. One of my favorites from B&B. I’m very glad Bluebird sent me some of those free samples when they first started out....Read more

Delicious tea for winter

I tried Bonfire Toffee tea for the first time in the autumn. I wasn't sure I would like it as I didn't used to enjoy Lapsang tea in my younger days, but it sounded delicious and I am so glad I did, because I am now hooked on the smoky, fruity caramel flavour. I drink it strong with just a dash of almond milk . I ordered several sachets for friends as Christmas gifts and a caddy as a new year treat for myself. It is often the first tea I reach for on cold mornings (and believe me I have a lot of teas to choose from!). Definitely recommended!...Read more

Strong delicious flavour

Lovely smokey / caramel taste. Strong flavour, so don't need to use much for a good cup.

You only need to use a small amount of this tea to get an amazing flavor, not to mention the smell fills the room!

A Bit Of Autumn In A Cup

The smokiness wasn't overwhelming, as can sometimes occur with this type of tea, and it's perfectly balanced with the flavours of apple of cinnamon. It's like autumn in a cup... warm, cozy, inviting. Even though it's black tea, I find it rather calming.

Not just for Bonfire Night!

Love this tea - smoky with a gorgeous sweet aftertaste. Perfect for Autumn but I’d happily drink it any time. Delicious!

Taste of Autumn

A lovely smokey tea that I received as part of my subscription box. A nice flavour.

Smoky and sweet

The perfect tea if you want to get your papillas started with smoky teas, but with a hint of autumn inspired sweetness. Gorgeous with baked apples as a treat in an chilly evening.

Lovely cosy afternoon tea

A really mellow and smokey tea blend for a wintery warming afternoon. Really lovely.

My new favourite!

I was a bit nervous about trying this one when it arrived in my subscription box as I historically have detested lapsong, but I was really surprised to find that I loved it. The caramel and apple make it smell delicious and I love to have it straight with no milk first thing in the morning - it's mixed with black tea so the lapsong just gives it a nice hint of smokiness. A great autumn drink. I'd definitely recommend it, even for lapsong haters like me!...Read more
