A walk in the Black Forest!

My lovely in-laws spend a lot of time in Germany, and are very fond of the Black Forest. I got this to try as I was curious to see if it really could recreate the taste of the dessert synonymous with the region. This is delicious! Warming, relaxing and comforting with a sweet but not sickly edge.

Cakey and fruity

Really nice, goes well with oat milk

Smells Amazing

Really lovely tea with a mouthwatering fragrance. Not the strongest but I've brewed it longer than the suggestion time and it stronger that way.

Like pudding in a cup!

I love the combination of black tea and chocolate, and this one is no exception. The hint of cherry give it an additional sweetness- totally gorgeous!

What year that was 1965

This tea was great I love it, I remember when Black Forest was all the rage, and yes I am that old

A bit more of something

Nice flavour but not my fave. Bit of a bitter aftertaste. May be better with a dash of milk.

I mean I love black forest gateaux but I don't love that I can't eat it all the time so this is an amazing substitute for the cake. It tastes divine. Highly recommended.

Fruity and chocolatey

Yum. Yum. Yum.
