Christmas spiced instant mulled wine - to use with tea, wine or juice!
Instant Mulled Wine Powder
You know how we are kinda experts with spices, ingredients, fruit powders & amazing tasting brews?! Well, we thought we should whip up some super simple but beautifully balanced mulling spices for you to to use this year.
Not just for making mulled tea, you can add this instant powder to cider, apple juice, wine & bake with it too! Just add 1/2 teaspoon p/person to whatever liquid you wish to infuse, stir really well & enjoy!
Totally sugar free, so great for creating mulled toddy drinks for those who are avoiding alcohol or sugar this Christmas!
Makes up to 20 cups!
Beetroot, turmeric, orange peel, natural flavouring granules, black peppercorns.

To make mulled tea: Add 1/2 Tea Spoon to 75ml of hot water, whisk well until dissolved. Top up your mug with hot water, hot wine or hot apple juice!
To make mulled juice (alcohol free mulled cider/wine): Heat your juice in the microwave or add to a saucepan on the stove. Add 1 tea spoon of powder p/person. Slice up some oranges & apples to add to the pan. Also add your favourite spices - we recommend at least cinnamon sticks but you could also try cloves, cardamom or star anise. Allow to simmer for 10 mins before serving, with a sprinkle of cinnamon in each mug!
To make mulled wine / cider: Decant your wine or cider into a saucepan on the stove. Add 1 tea spoon of powder p/person (5 tea spoons p/ bottle of wine). Add 5 tablespoons of granulated or brown sugar. Slice up some oranges & apples to add to the pan. Also add your favourite spices - we recommend at least cinnamon sticks but you could also try cloves, cardamom or star anise. Allow to simmer for 10 mins before serving, with a sprinkle of cinnamon in each mug!
