I had high hopes for this as I love matcha and adore mint, but got more of a lemon menthol flavour from this which whilst not wholly unpleasant was not quite what I was hoping for. Don’t think I’ll choose this particular blend again.
Had it iced with oat milk, was tasty. Just tasted like a really good mint tea cold brewed, couldn't really even tell it was matcha, so if you like mint tea, don't like the taste of matcha but want caffeine then this is the tea of your dreams. Would probably purchase again as it was super refreshing. The flavour granules don't really ever dissolve but if you drink with a straw it you cant tell. (works for gingernut matcha too!)
Hello! Thanks you so much for taking the time to leave a review of Spearmint S'cream Matcha - I'm so glad to hear it was a hit! I also love this one cold brewed with oat milk and served over ice - a great summer brew! All of our Matcha is natural and therefore prone to a few pesky granules, however if you make the matcha 'shot' using 80 degree water and froth well with a whisk before adding milk these should disappear!
