A blend of fire & ice to warm the winter chill!
5.65
Fiery ginger & chilli spices working in harmony with cool peppermint make this blend the perfect preparation for the coming chills of winter! Brew up a steaming mug of this brew to keep you safe & warm, whilst the storm rages outside!
Chief Mixologist Krisi says: Hopefully our fans aren't going to need me to point out the reference to our favourite TV show (*cough*, novel)! I wanted to create a blend of cool flavours like mint contrasted with fire-y spices in homage to the Kingdoms of the north & the south. Think Kung Flu Fighter but with a Pu’erh depth... Oh and I am also very excited to add a new Pu’erh blend to the Wall (no pun intended!)!

How we're drinking it: This one has to be brewed up steaming hot, with a squeeze of lemon & a dash of honey, especially if you're trying to ward off a winter cold!
Chinese pu-erh tea, ginger, peppermint, red peppercorns, chilli, blue cornflowers.

A song of ice and fire inspired tea . Who would have thought a game of thrones could inspire a tea hot drink . Throat warming hot to begin followed by a cool fresh taste after . Think Iv found my favourite for the winter . Perfect for the cold evenings while watching GOT reruns ;)

This is by far my favourite tea. It has a good balance with the heat of chilli and coolness of the mint. I really hope they decide to make this one of their regular teas as I’m struggling to keep my stock up!

I got this in my prescription box, was the one I was least interested in, but immediately fell in love. The flavour is well balanced, and very warming. I immediately had to order a tin and I've had at least a mug a day since! Perfect for wet, miserable scottish autumns and winters.

Like other reviewers, I received this in my monthly subscription pack and absolutely loved it, so much so I ordered the biggest size available. The balance between the cool freshness of the mint and the spicy heat of the chilli is just right - I can't cope with very much chilli in food, but this is fine. Probably my favourite Bird & Blend tea at the moment.
This tea really is outstanding and blended very delicately for an intense taste like you've never had before.
I received Winter Is Coming in my monthly tea subscription. It was so nice that I had to buy it in bulk to be delivered the next month.
Bird & Blend teas may cost a little more than a pack of standard tea from the supermarket, but they are totally worth it.
I've never had pur'eh before so, after some experimentation, I have this with milk like I do black tea. To me it tastes like black tea with a menthol mint kick but also a gentle warmth. Surreal but gorgeous. Please keep this one team BB!
This is delicious! At first it tastes like a cup of pu'erh with a relatively gentle ginger note, then there's a lovely aftertaste of mint and finally a lingering heat from the chilli. Perfect for a cold day.
Not my favourite, by any means, but this is a strangely good blend. The description is just rather strange in combination, but it’s actually rather pleasant to drink. The spice isn’t overpowering, but adds a nice warming sensation as you drink. Would be perfect for colds and flu!
A few days after I got this in my monthly subscription, my partner starting showing the dreaded symptoms of the first winter cold. I quickly brewed this with some lemon and lime and it did help his symptoms. It seemed to keep the germs away from me too! The taste is good but a bit bitter for me. The honey improves it I think.
Got this in my tea subscription and immediately ordered some more. I love the combination of flavours
I admit I ordered this tea for the name only. But loved the flavour! The peppermint notes are a very nice touch that you don't expect, and I usually don't like peppermint or mint. I like to drink it during my slowest afternoon at work, they improve the final hours of my workshift.
Bought this just as I was going through the flu - it’s perfect with lemon and honey, just tastes like a hug with a peppermint kick
