    When approaching making a blend for our London Borough tea shop, we wanted to bring the industrial revolution, old bricks & smoky haze of Borough to life. With this smoky & spicy loose leaf Chinese Pu-erh tea blend, we think we have done just that!

    Ingredients

    Chinese Pu-Erh Tea, Ginger, Lemongrass, Lapsang Souchong Black Tea, Red Peppercorns

    Warning: Packed in an environment that contains nuts.

    How to make a hot tea

    • perfect loose leaf tea spoon

      Step 1

      1 tsp

    • tea brewing temperature

      Step 2

      Boil water to 100°

    • tea brewing time

      Step 3

      Wait 2-4 mins

    • hot cup of tea

      Step 4

      With or without milk

    How to cold brew tea

    • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

      Step 1

      Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

    • Add cold water

      Step 2

      Add 750ml cold water

    • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

      Step 3

      Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

    • Enjoy over ice.

      Step 4

      Pour over ice & enjoy!

    My Favourite

    This is my absolute favourite tea, and I've tried a lot!

    It's very reminiscent of what it's trying to be. It reminds me of a smoky foggy evening. The lemongrass and peppercorns just match so well with the tea. I bought the second biggest bag and wish I had got the biggest!

    I'm glad the shop-specific blend is available online.

    Smokey and peppery

    I love this tea, it's my favorite. Lovely and smokey and peppery.

    I've seen other reviews note that it smells a bit like smoked fish - I don't get that myself but my husband can smell that a bit.
