Possibly my most favourite tea....

My problem with ‘smelly’ teas is that they always promise so much with their tantalising aroma but often never deliver regarding taste. However, Chocolate Digestive tea has been a game-changer for me. The smell is truly lovely and it tastes as good as it smells. I use a dash of milk with mine. Congratulations to the person responsible for this blend!

Delicious

Gentleman in the store had me try this as a latte and I liked it so much we had to order more! Smells and tastes like chocolate cookies!

Super

It does what the tin says. Very rich flavor and it tastes like chocolate digestives cookies.

A revelation in tea - you can throw away the biscuits ;-)

I simply adore this tea. It smells SO chocolatey, and I like it steeped for 7 minutes with a tiny drop of milk. Somehow, it really does taste like chocolate biscuits and is consequently pretty moreish. It is, by far, the most exciting thing to come home to after work.... and it literally makes me feel happy.

Heaven in a cup

I have really been converted to this tea. It's so yummy. I buy the loose tea, use my special spoon and fill a tea bag. The tea is such good quality that I can use the bag twice.

Comfort and fun

I don't understand how or why, but drinking this makes me happy, siily happy. I love it. Chocolatey, spicy, warm,... I could easily drink it every day and feel special.

Not my cup of tea

The chocolate flavour at first is really nice, but I don't get chocolate digestive vibe from it. My mum on the other hand adores it, as its more of a spicy ginger nut-y type of flavour with the fenugreek.

Chocolatey!

Suprisingly rich with chocolate, flavour, like it a lot!

No dipping required

Omg. Omg. Omg. It actually tastes like a choccy diggy. Yum. Had a touch of milk with mine. Loved.

Never had the source to compare the flavor, but this a DESSERT tea.

I have no idea what chocolate digestive cookies taste like. They seem to be a not-American cookie. However, this tea is lovely. It has a unique flavor… never tasted this in a tea before. It kind of takes over the cup and it’s also hard to describe. Both steeps tasted very similar, with only a hint of chocolate. It was mostly that added flavor — or possibly it’s a combination of all these odd ingredients that make it seem like an added flavor? The cardamom, cocoa, fenugreek and licorice. It tastes like none of these flavors, unless they all combine into a new super flavor. To me I can only describe it as DESSERT but it’s such a unique dessert flavor. I wish I could try the cookie to compare! However, though this base is Ceylon, it doesn’t seem like the older weak Ceylon that B&B used. This is a stronger, tastier Ceylon. Both cups were very dark and flavorful so I’m very happy about the new Ceylon!!
Steep #1 // 1 teaspoon for a full mug // 18 minutes after boiling // 2 minute steep
Steep #2 // just boiled // 4 minute steep

I was a bit sniffy about this whole chocolate tea thing... then I tried it.

I admit, until I tried it the thought of chocolate in tea made me pull a bit of a face. Then I tried it, first with the legendary "Snowball", which was as if you were drinking a cup of tea and eating a snowball at the same time. I admit I was wrong to be a bit sniffy about it. It was wonderful.r />
This is also wonderful - probably better if I'm honest. I'm now vegan, so don't get to do the "chocolate digestive dunked in tea" thing any more and this really does give you the whole taste sensation - and more - but without the gungy lumps of biscuit that fall off and land in your tea. And without the stodginess too.

Looking at the tea itself, its good quality tea with lots of other bits in but how they manage to get the flavour so correctly I do not know. It brews to a dark golden brown - it needs the full four minutes to brew but isn't spoiled if you give it longer. It also takes a second brewing without really losing anything - by the third its a bit insipid.

Not one to drink before you go to bed, it did keep me quite jiggly for the rest of the day....Read more

One of a kind

This tea is one of a kind, it smells and tastes beautiful. As soon as I opened the packaging and inhaled the sweet aroma I knew I would love it. I could taste the chocolate digestive and my partner said it tasted like Biscoff biscuits, we both thoroughly enjoyed it. It's comforting and perfect for those who love dunking biscuits in their tea!

A wintery Chocolate Vegan Delight

This yummy chocolate vegan tea is just what you need on a chilly winter night. Froth up some oat milk, add a little of your favourite sweetener and sprinkle some cocoa and cinnamon! Pure heaven in a cup! An absolute must:^)

Smooth and smokey

This is a very smooth tea, with just a hint of sweetness and smokiness. I really enjoy it as a strong brew with a splash of almond milk. A good accompaniment to breakfast, or second breakfast.

Definitely a sweeter cookie

The chocolate is the real standout here, though I will admit to being a bit thrown by the liquorice flavor. I imagine it's there to bring about the biscuit flavor, but it's not overly for me. I do enjoy the tea though.

Did taste like chocolate biscuits!

Yes, loved this tea, lovely with milk and helps curb a craving for a biscuit! I have without sugar. Would order again.

Worth trying

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this blend, but really like it as mid afternoon cup of tea with a biscuit or two!

Cardamom?

I admit to being a bit confused by the ingredients in this tea. Cardamom? Licorice? Fenugreek? Isn’t a chocolate digestive just a rather plain round biscuit dipped in chocolate? I guess I don’t understand where the spices come in…

Steeped, it smells supremely biscuity, with a dark brown sugar caramel aroma.

Hmm… Well I do like it. There’s definitely good biscuit flavor, and a big dollop of caramel on top. But the cardamom is quite strong, and I don’t really understand the connection between it and chocolate biscuits… So that leaves me a bit confused. I also don’t really get any chocolate to speak of.

So I like it, but am also perplexed. LOL!
