How to make a hot tea

    1 tsp

  • tea brewing temperature

    Step 2

    Boil water to 100°

  • tea brewing time

    Step 3

    Wait 4+ mins

  • hot cup of tea

    Step 4

    With or without milk

How to cold brew tea

  • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

    Step 1

    Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

  • Add cold water

    Step 2

    Add 750ml cold water

  • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

    Step 3

    Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

  • Enjoy over ice.

    Step 4

    Pour over ice & enjoy!

Disappointing

I love anything ginger flavoured and was so looking forward to trying this as a cold brew, but couldn’t smell or taste any ginger, just roobibos tea. I had the same experience with the rhubarb and custard tea. Think I’ll have to stick to the fruit tea blends in future.

Also found the website description misleading as the 20g loose leaf bags are advertised as enough for 10 cups but this only relates to hot drinks (1 tsp recommended) and not drinks made in the cold brew bottle (5-6 tsp recommended).

Lovely hot or cold
